Lippizan's, the real deal

after a disappointing Prague experience, Edward decided to make Vienna a place to remember fondly. He booked best available tickets for the Lippizan horses at the Spanish Riding School. Since we were booking last minute, the best available were third tier. However, when we arrived we discovered two people already seated in our seats. The usher escorted us back to the ticket center and after much "barking back and forth" in German among the employees, a very officious

lady said to me in English "don't worry, we will upgrade you." Indeed she did...this is a view from our seats just below the royal box. They don't allow photography when the horses are performing. but it was WUNDERBAR!!! What a dream come true.
