Postcards from the edge of nowhere....

After Serbia scored a goal, Edward decided to take a nap and so did Betsy. Every once in a while Betsy quits talking for no apparent reason. She still shows the navigation, but you don't benefit from her advance notice that your turn is coming up or that you made a mistake (recalculating...) Well as a consequence, I managed to be in the left lane going through an unexpectedly long tunnel and missed the right turn to Prague...no worry I thought, Betsy will get us back on track....Betsy took us (actually me, Edward was still napping) through some of the most beautiful scenery we've seen so far, acres of fruit trees, old very old chalet looking houses perched on ever steeper hills, a huge sign in German that clearly said NO AUTOBAHN (funnny that was all I wanted at the moment)...actually it looked a lot like North Carolina...and then the road ended...I guess the NO Autobahners were winning...Edward woke up and decided it was his turn to drive.

We turned around and asked the first "male" human being that we encountered how to get to Prague...and who won THE game...He pointed in the direction we were now headed and mumbled "Serbia".
