Tennessee meets Copenhagan

I read in my guidebook that the Nylam canal was a good place to start your tour of Copenhagan...so did 50,000 other tourists. We found a parking spot right away and a very nice passerby helped us buy a 2 hour parking permit from a vending machine that only spoke Danish. No sooner had we placed the receipt on our dashboard than another very nice passerby informed us that our parking spot was reserved for Embassy personnel only (no wonder we found it right away). Thirty minutes later I spotted an empty space on the opposite side of the road...I flipped a Uey in front of oncoming traffic and grabbed the space which fortunately was not in front of an embassy.
